PYKS: Toolbar - How To Use The Replace Color Tool

Learn how to use the Replace Color Tool in Pyks to swap specific colors in an image using a source and target color, and adjust the tolerance slider to control how much color is replaced. Note that this tool does not work on text or shape layers.

The Color Replace Tool allows users to change specific colors within an image by selecting a source color and replacing it with a new color. It offers the ability to adjust the tolerance to control how much of the color is replaced. Please note that you will not be able to replace the colors on the shape or text layers.

How To Replace Color On Your Project

  1. On the left side of the screen, click on the color replacement tool.

  2. On the right side, you will have the color replace tool settings.

  3. Select the layer you would like to replace the colors in.

  4. Select the eyedropper icon on the source color.

  5. Choose a color to replace in your project area.

  6. Click apply.

  7. Click on the eyedropper icon, on the target color, and select a new color.

  8. Click apply.

  9. You have now replaced the 1st color with the 2nd color.

  10. Use the tolerance slider to increase or decrease how much of the target color appears in your project.

Replace Color Tool Limitation

  • You will not be able to replace the color on the shape layer or the text layer.
