Open Talkia Project and Add Voice/Audio Clip to Timeline
Open Talkia project
Add voice or audio clip to the timeline.
Use the Cut Feature
Move the playhead to the area you want to start cutting the audio/voice clip.
If you only want the audio or voice clip to be cut, make sure to move it away from the playhead. You can move it back into place after.
Move the green or red portion of the playhead to select the section you would like to cut.
Click on the scissor icon to cut the clip.
Use the Copy and Paste Feature
Move the playhead to the area you want to copy.
Select the portion to copy by moving the green and red portion of the playhead.
Click the copy icon
Move playhead to the area you want to paste the copied clip.
Click the paste icon to duplicate the selected portion.
Lock Voice and Audio in Timeline
Lock voice or audio clips to prevent accidental movement
Unlock to customize or move parts of the audio clips
Troubleshooting
- Double-click the playhead to have the green and red part connect to the yellow portion.
- Double-click to move playhead.
