There are several ways to get Talkia to speak in a different language. We will go over the following:
Add Text In Another Language
- Copy and paste the text you want Talkia to speak.
- Please note that not all voices will be able to pronounce the language correctly. We would suggest using the voice that speaks the language of that country. However, it is not necessary, you can choose whichever voice you wish. Ex. Pick a voice from China or Taiwan if you want Talkia to speak Mandarin.
- Select speak it or add to timeline.
Translate Text Within Talkia
You can also translate text directly from Talkia.
Note: You are responsible for ensuring the translation is correct. Google Translate is a good alternative tool to check the translation.
- Add in the English version of the text.
- Click the translate text button.
- Select the language you would like to translate the text to.
- Click the arrow to translate.
Create Voiceover Using A Different Language
- Select a voice from a country where the main spoken language is the one you want to use for the voiceover. This is optional, you can select whichever voice you want.
- Select add to timeline.
- Save and export your voiceover.
