Toonly: Upload Object Into Your Project

Learn how to upload a custom object into your Toonly project, including supported file formats (PNG, JPG, GIF, animated GIF) and how to name, save, and drag it onto the canvas.

Recommend Image Size And Format

  • Supported object upload formats are PNG, JPG, GIFs, and animated GIFs.

  • The recommended size of your image would depend on the video resolution you intend to produce. For background images, 720p or higher would be the ideal recommended size.

Upload Objects Into Your Project

  1. To upload a new object, click on the Objects tab located on the left-hand side of the Toonly interface.

  2. From there, click on the Upload New Object tab and select the object that you would like to upload from your computer.

  3. Then, you can give your object a name and save and upload.

  4. The object will then become available in your object tab view, which you can click and drag into the project.
