Toonly: Working with Toonly Scenes

Learn how to work with scenes in Toonly, including how to add, rename, duplicate, copy and paste, rearrange, and delete scenes — including how to copy a scene from one project to another.

Add New Scene

  1. From the left side of your Toonly interface, click on the "+" sign or the add new scene button to add a new scene to your project.

Rename A Scene

  1. Click on the scene name and start typing a new scene name.

  2. Press Enter on your keyboard to save the name.

Duplicate Scene

  • Duplicate Icon

    1. Click on the duplicate icon to create a new copy of the scene.

  • Copy And Paste Scene

    1. Right-click on the scene you would like to duplicate.

    2. Click the copy scene button.

    3. Open a new scene or click on an existing scene, right-click, and select paste scene.

Duplicate Scene From One Project To Another

  1. Right-click on the scene you would like to duplicate.

  2. Click the copy scene button.

  3. Save your project.

  4. Exit the project and open a new project.

  5. Click on an existing scene, right-click, and select paste scene.

Rearrange Scene

  1. To rearrange a scene, use the drag/drop tool at the top left-hand side of the scene to move it up/down.

  2. Click on the 8-dot icon and then drag the scene to where you want.

Delete Scene

  • Click on the Trash Icon

    1. To delete a scene, click the trash can icon located on the right-hand side of the scene panel.

  • Right Click On The Scene

    1. To delete a scene, right-click on the scene and click on Remove Scene.
