Supported Languages in Doodly
The Fonts library features basic text options and while the majority of languages are supported in Doodly, you may find that some special characters within your language are not supported. The availability of special characters depends on the font chosen or uploaded within the software. The availability of special characters depends on the font chosen or uploaded within the software.
How to Add Text To Your Canvas
- From the top right corner of the Doodly interface, select from the pre-made assets.
- Pick a text style and drag it onto your canvas.
- Double-click on the text to edit the text. You can click on the paint icon to change the text color.
- To use multiple colors in a sentence, highlight the text and then pick a color.
- You can also use word wrap by checking the box at the bottom left corner.
- Click done to save your changes.
Placing Your Text Within A Video
Once inside of your project, you will want to select the text option as seen below. If the selected font allows the characters of a given language, the language will be supported without any limitations in your Doodly video!
Right to Left Text
- Drag the preferred text font style to the video that you're editing.
- The Text field auto-detects the language used and applies the proper orientation.
